Microburst winds swept through parts of Northern Utah late Monday afternoon, knocking down trees and power, particularly in Richmond. The winds did not last long, estimated to be less than two minutes, but definitely packed a punch. Several large, mature trees were toppled, falling on buildings and power lines at approximately 5:30 p.m. Power was eventually restored a few hours later. There are no reports of any injuries or the estimated amount of property damage.
