Imagine, a Beatles tribute band, will be playing a benefit concert August 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cache County fairgrounds. Tickets cost $9 for adults, and can be sold at a discount for larger groups, and will benefit the animals at the Cache Humane Society. Concert guests are asked to use the north gate on 400 South in order to reach the main lawn of the fair grounds, where the concert will take place. Concessions, such as cotton candy, will be available for purchase. Besides this fundraising event, money and item donations are needed in order to keep the Cache Humane Society (CHS) running properly. The CHS is starting a project that will transform land behind the center into a public access animal park. The park will be divided into large dog and small dog areas and will have agility courses for the animals. The CHS needs money donations in order to get the project going. The CHS is always in need of supplies A full wish list of items the CHS needs from dry cat food to laundry detergent can be found at their website, www.cachehumane.org. Volunteers are also needed. Information about volunteering, including volunteer orientation and an application, can also be found at the CHS website. – email@example.com
