USU programs combine to create first Access and Diversity Center

Five Utah State University programs have combined to create the new Access and Diversity Center. USU is the first institution of higher education in the state to deliver services to diverse student populations in this uniquely collaborative way. A grand opening to celebrate the new collaboration is scheduled for Wednesday September 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center Room 315. The pubic is invited. The new organization will bring together Multicultural Student Services, Gay, Lesbian,Bisexual,Transgender and Ally services, Veterans services, non-traditional student services and Educational Outreach. Michelle Bogdan is the director of the new Access and Diversity Center. She says the center’s staff will be cross trained
