County council expected to pass Spice ordinance

The Cache County Council is expected to pass an ordinance Tuesday that restricts the manufacture, distribution, possession or use of synthetic cannabinoids commonly known as Spice. The proposed ordinance comes up for a vote just four days after a Clarkston man, who allegedly had been smoking Spice, was arrested for shooting his friend’s goat with a revolver. If passed, the ordinance will apply only to the unincorporated parts of the county but Logan City is considering a similar measure. The county council meeting starts at 5 p.m.
