Bicyclist struck by vehicle in front of KFC

An 18-year old male was struck while riding his bicycle in front of the Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant in Logan Wednesday afternoon.According to Logan City Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis, the driver of a vehicle struck the bicyclist on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant on 400 North 100 East. The bicyclist complained of pain in his leg and was transported to a local hospital. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.Curtis says the driver was cited for a failure to yield.
