Cache Valley Transit District’s bus drivers performed well at the Utah Urban Rural Specialized Transportation Association annual fall conference bus roadeo in St. George. Bus driver Sam Tingey took first place and Allen Gammill took second in the large bus division.Options for Independence of Logan driver Mandy Kienko took first place in the passenger van and Stan Clelland took second place in the cut-a-way division.URSTA provides training, education and advocacy for transit providers in Utah. It sponsors the roadeo to train bus drivers and allow them to test their skills and compete against drivers from all over Utah. The winners of the URSTA roadeo will represent Utah at the national roadeo in Indiana.
