Rash of vandalisms in Cliffside neighborhood

For the second time in a week vehicles have been vandalized in the Cliffside area of Logan. Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis says it appears the criminals are targeting specific high school students who live in the area of Orchard Drive and Eastridge Lane.Curtis says the cars and a church have had vulgarities written on their windows with a chalk-like paint. He says although the damage hasn’t cost anything so far other than clean-up, the actions are uncalled for, out of line, and criminal. He says when the culprits are caught, they will be charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief. So far 17 cases have been documented. If anyone knows who is responsible for the crimes or sees anything suspicious, they are asked to called the Logan Police Department at 716-9300.
