Paul Todd has released some good Halloween advice for both parents and children. Make sure all costumes should be bright in color and have reflective materials. A flashlight should be used as well. Don’t allow children to eat their candy until it has been inspected in a well-lit area. Don’t allow children to carry fake weapons. Trick or treat in familiar neighborhoods only and in a group that is accompanied by an adult. Stay on sidewalks and use intersection crosswalks. Only visit well-lit houses and avoid houses with no lights on. Always be respectful of other people’s property and use driveways and walkways.
