(AP) — Colin Kaepernick passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another as Nevada defeated Utah State 56-42 on Saturday night.Mike Ball had three touchdowns for the Wolf Pack (7-1, 2-1 WAC), which built a 35-0 halftime lead. Diondre Borel completed 24 of 38 passes for 399 yards and two touchdowns for Utah State (2-6, 0-4), which rallied with a big second half but got no closer than 14 points. Borel also ran for a score.Kaepernick had 102 of his 106 yards rushing in the first half, including a 56-yard touchdown run that put the Wolf Pack ahead 28-0 with 2:18 left in the half. After forcing Utah State to punt, a 55-yard pass from Kaepernick to Rishard Mathews set up a 5-yard Ball touchdown with 1:35 remaining before the break.Kaepernick completed 10 of 15 passes for 190 yards despite playing less than three quarters.Ball had touchdown reception of 8 yards and added a 35-yard touchdown run on Nevada����s opening series of the third quarter to put them up 42-7.The Aggies only had 98 yards of total offense in the first half, then rolled up 400 in the second half. They made it 49-35 on Kerwynn Williams’ 7-yard run with 2:23 to play.Nevada scored again on Courtney Randall’s 1-yard run with 1:07 left, but Williams returned the kickoff 92 yards for Utah State to make it a 14-point game again. The Wolf Pack recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock.
