Jenkins, Baird and Hall winners in school board races

Local Attorney Jon Jenkins has won his bid for re-election to the Cache County Board of Education, having received 51.8 percent of the vote compared to challenger Troy Christensen’s 47.8 percent. Jenkins represents District 4 which includes River Heights and North Logan. In District 2, Bart Baird also received 51.8 percent of the vote while his opponent received 47.3 percent, defeating Randall Sanders. Baird will take over the seat that has been held by Guy Ray Pulsipher who died on Sunday. Pulsipher had not filed for re-election.In District 7, Garrick Hall defeated Mindee Hoopes by a margin of 56.9 percent to 42.9 percent.
