East started out to be quite the opponent for the Mustangs early on, but the second half arrived with what looked like a completely different East team. At halftime, the Mustangs held a 28-20 lead over the Leopards, and with the second half beginning brought a 38-6 run that lasted the rest of the game. East had troubles keeping possession of the ball, with 7 turnovers, and this was ultimately the reason for their defeat. The final score was Mountain Crest 56 East 26.-Todd Olsen
