SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The National Weather Service says a winter storm is poised to drop about two feet of snow in the Wasatch mountains. A winter storm advisory went into effect late Sunday, and meteorologists say snow levels will quickly drop into the valleys of northern Utah on Monday. The advisory was issued for the Wasatch mountains and the western Uinta mountain range until midday Tuesday. Winds could gust at up to 45 mph, and cold temperatures are expected for much of the week. Another storm could arrived Tuesday night.
