Employment, education and resource opportunities will be explored on Thursday, November 11 when the annual Single Mothers’ Seminar is held. The seminar is sponsored by Bridgerland Applied Technology College, LDS Employment Resource Services and Workforce Services. The seminar will be held at BATC, 1301 North 60 West with registration beginning at 6:30 and seminars running from 7 to 9 p.m. Planners say there will be a motivational keynote speaker, financial aid information and door prizes which people need to be present to win. Those attending will be provided information on education, employment, scholarship and financial aid options as well as beneficial services leading to economic self-reliance.
