Chorus performing Veterans Day Tribute

It is Veterans Day and the American Festival Chorus will perform its third annual Veterans Day Tribute, Thursday night starting at 7:30 in the Kent Concert Hall of the Utah State University Chase Fine Arts Center. The concert is presented by the Caine College of the Arts and tickets are free but necessary.Craig Jessop, Dean of the College of the Arts and founder-director of the American Festival Chorus, says the patriotic concert is a salute to veterans of Cache Valley. Gary Griffin, retired Lt. Colonel and Commander of the American Legion Post #12, will be the emcee.Guest speaker will be USAF retired General Robert C. Oaks, a retired four star general, commander in chief of U.S. Air Forces in Europe. He also served as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy and in the Presidency of the Seventy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
