U.S. Magistrate Judge to be featured at USU speaker series

United States Magistrate Judge Samuel Alba will be at Utah State University on Friday, November 19 where he will be featured in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series. Alba will speak at 12:30 p.m. at the Haight Alumni Center. The lecture is free and everyone is invited to attend, especially students who are studying in the college. Alba has been a United States Magistrate Judge since 1992 and prior to that he was a shareholder at Prince, Yeates and Geldzahler from 1987 to 1992. He gradated from USU in 1969 earning a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is a 1972 graduate of the Arizona State University Law School. The title of Judge Alba’s lecture is “The Changing Face of the Law in Latin America.”
