Yellow Air alert issued for Cache Valley

Air quality is deteriorating in Cache Valley. The state has issued a yellow air alert Wednesday night, continuing into Thursday morning when pm2.5 pollution levels were measured at 26.4 micrograms per cubic meter. Red air alerts were forecast by the state and that means the air is especially unhealthy for sensitive groups, such as elderly people and those with chronic illnesses.
