Icy conditions contributed to two accidents in Logan Canyon Monday morning. According to witnesses, the first happened around 8:45 a.m. when an 18-wheeler traveling down the canyon was not able to make the corner just after the bridge near the dugway and slid down the embankment. Traffic was temporarily delayed while crews worked to restore the truck to the road. The driver was not seriously injured.The second happened at around 11:25 a.m. when a northbound Toyota pickup drifted into oncoming traffic, hitting a minivan head on.
