Joachim Singlemann, an internationally-known expert on inequality, will be a guest on the Utah State University campus Tuesday. His presentation “Race and Pace: Determinants of Poverty in the Mississippi Delta and the Texas Borderland” starts at 12 noon in Old Main Room 224A. Everybody is invited to attend. The Sociology Program in USU’s Department of Sociology, Social Work and Anthropology invited Professor Singlemann to the campus because of his expertise on relationships between ethnicity and space.Eddy Berry, USU sociology professor and director of undergraduate sociology, says Dr. Singlemann brings extensive experience on the subject to USU.
