Chinese immersion topic of Chamber of Commerce luncheon

What are the implications for Chinese immersion in elementary and pre-schools but not in the workplace? That is a question that will be explored on Tuesday, Jan. 18 when Dr. B.C. Sun, economist and China advisor of strategic alliances and innovation for business, government, science and technology speaks at the Cache Chamber of Commerce Third Tuesday luncheon.The luncheon starts at 12 noon at the Coppermill Restaurant and everyone is invited to attend. The cost is $12 and people can make reservations by calling 752-2161. Dr. Sun will also be a guest on KVNU’s Crosstalk show Monday at 9:10 a.m.
