Brigham City man charged with producing fake checks, selling them in Utah, Idaho and Nevada

A Brigham City man has been charged with printing fake checks and selling them in three different states, resulting in thousands of dollars in losses. According to court records, Harley Bickford, 32, was charged in First District Court with 62 counts of possession of counterfeit documents, each a third degree felony.According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Brigham City Police Lt. Mike Nelson says the man sold checks to people in Northern Utah, Southern Idaho and parts of Nevada over the past six months. Brigham City Police plan to meet with detectives from other Utah agencies to discuss the investigation.
