Logan businesses unite to create fundraiser for Ferguson family

It is called “A night for the Ferguson Family” and all are invited to be part of the Monday evening event. The event is a fundraiser for the Jace and Teri Ferguson family of Mendon whose two sons, 10 year old Bridger and 7 year-old M’Guire, were killed in a traffic accident on December 18.Firehouse Pizzeria owner Neal Chambers says he wanted to provide the dinner to help Jace and Teri Ferguson pay their medical and funeral expenses.”We’re serving pasta, salad and bread,” Chambers detailed. “Then Coca Cola is helping out with the drinks. Charlies Ice Cream is helping with Creamies then we’re getting cookies from Macey’s. So we’re going to have a good dinner.”Chambers says other local businesses, along with individuals, are helping to make the fundraiser a success. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. at Mountain Crest High School and the movie Despicable Me will be shown at 7 p.m. Chambers says Mountain Crest High School students who are friends of the Ferguson family are helping with tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Mountain Crest High School, South Cache Junior High or Firehouse Pizzeria. Contributions can also be made at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
