Franklin County Clerk retires, focusing now on Oneida Academy

After 16 years as Franklin County Clerk, Elliott Larsen has retired. The 66 year-old Larsen says in his job as county clerk he not only handled budget issues and agendas or the commission meetings, he was also mediator between county departments, the human resource office and county risk manager, handling claims filed against the county and other duties as called on. Now that he has retired, Larsen says he will concentrate on his 300-acre farm and his passion–preserving the Oneida Stake Academy where he went to school. His successor is Shauna Geddes, who has worked with Larsen and was elected clerk after Larsen announced his retirement.
