<strong>Mountain Crest dominates Logan, 57-38</strong>

Mountain Crest finally snaps their losing streak with a demanding victory over rival Logan in Hyrum, 57-38. The Mustangs were able to stay out of foul trouble for most of the game, which aided in their 19 point victory. The only criticism that the Mountain Crest coach had for his team was the free throws. Free throws plagued the Mustangs all night and were the only blemish on a fantastic game. -Todd Olsen

<strong>Bees beat Bobcats, 57-47</strong>

The Sky View Bobcats fell on the road to the Box Elder Bees, losing by a score of 57-47. Box Elder was hot from behind the three-point line, especially in the second quarter, and their free-throw shooting ended up as the difference in the game.Brant Mecham was the leading scorer, with a game-high 20 points for the Bees. 10 of those came in the second quarter. Sky View will face Ogden at home on Friday night.-Weston Mangum

<strong>Bears escape with win at Morgan, 61-60</strong>

In what was an intense and physical game, it was the Bear River Bears who kept their cool and poise with the game on the line. The Bears escaped a hostile Morgan environment, with a 61-60 win over the Morgan Trojans. Brady Jensen was pushed hard into the bleachers with 32 seconds left, and it was called a flagrant foul.Brady hit the 2 freebies to give them a one point lead and they kept the ball, to hold on for a thrilling win. These two teams were tied for second place, but a win tonight on the road could move them up pending on the result of the Juan Diego-Judge Memorial Game. Brady Jensen was huge tonight pouring in 17 points for the Bears.-Ajay Salveson
