Public Works Director Mark Nielson will give presentations on storm water rates and no-fault sewer backup issues. Parks and Recreation Director Russ Akina will also discuss the Independence Day Celebration budget. Two public hearings will also be held in connection with Tuesday’s meeting of the Logan Municipal Council. The hearings start at 5:30 p.m. in the Logan City Hall Public Conference room at 290 North 100 West. That room is being used on a regular basis until remodeling of the city council chambers is completed. One of the public hearings involves a proposed budget appropriating $235,000 for the River Flood Control Project. The other public hearing is to consider a proposed resolution approving rate adjustments for the Logan River Golf Course and the Willow Park Zoo.
