LOGAN, Utah – Utah State fans are encouraged to arrive early to Saturday’s basketball doubleheader to honor the departing seniors on both teams. The women play Louisiana Tech at 3 p.m., while the men host Idaho at 7 p.m., and all 10 seniors will be honored prior to the tip of each game. Utah State’s women’s team is currently in third-place in the Western Athletic Conference with a 9-4 league record and 15-11 overall on the season. LTU is 20-5 overall and a perfect 12-0 in WAC play. Prior to its game with the Lady Techsters, USU will honor its four seniors in Alice Coddington, Stacey Howard, LaCale Pringle-Buchanan and Amber White at approximately 2:50 p.m. Utah State’s men’s team in currently ranked No. 23 in the country with its 25-3 record and sits atop the WAC standings with a 12-1 league mark. The Aggie men have already clinched the regular season WAC title, which is its fourth-straight conference championship. Idaho is 16-11 overall and tied for third-place in the WAC with an 8-6 record. Prior to its game with the Vandals, USU will honor its six seniors in Nate Bendall, Matt Formisano, Brian Green, Tyler Newbold, Tai Wesley and Pooh Williams at approximately 6:45 p.m. The men’s game is sold out, but tickets for the women’s game can be purchased by contacting the USU Ticket Office at 1-888-USTATE-1 or 435-797-0305.
