Nibley breaking ground for new city offices

Nibley City will break ground for its new city/community building Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Gerald Knight will preside over the groundbreaking which will be held at 344 West 3200 South in Nibley. The public is invited to attend. City Manager Larry Anhder says the 6,300 square foot building will serve as the administrative offices for Nibley City. The project was designed by JRCA Architects and will be constructed by Darrell W. Anderson Construction. Once the new building is completed, the Public Works Department will use the current city building as office space. He says the $1.4 million project is being funded by a combination of city funds and bonds issued by the Community Impact Board.
