Usually a game is decided after four quarters. But in the 4A state quarterfinal game between the Sky View Bobcats and Lehi Pioneers, it only took one quarter for one team to take full control. Lehi will move on to the 4A state semifinals after a 61-50 win over Sky View. The game started out with sloppy passing, numerous turnovers, and one shot after another clinging off the rim. But yet the Bobcats held a 15-9 lead going into the second quarter. Then a Sky View horror trip ensued for the next eight minutes.Sky View took a 21-13 lead before Lehi went on a jaw dropping 16-0 run to take a 31-21 lead going into intermission that included a Colton College three pointer at the second quarter buzzer.Lehi won the second quarter decisively 22-6. College hit two threes and add that up with one too many turnovers for SV and that would equal disaster. Colton College, who is possibly the best player in the tournament, finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds. College had 25 in round one.For Sky View, Casey Oliverson had 12 points and 11 rebounds but had four turnovers. Grayson Moore led the Bobcats with a 5-7 three point shooting clinic finishing with 15 points, and Don Corbell had eight points four rebounds.
