SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A flood warning has been issued for northern Utah as temperatures rise and snow melts.National Weather Service hydrologist Brian McInerney in Salt Lake City says the Blacksmith Fork River exceeded flood stage on Friday.He says the Cache County communities of Millville and Hyrum can expect minor flooding this weekend. The river near Logan is expected to recede Monday as a cold front moves in and snowmelt eases.Northern Utah has record snowpack this year but cool temperatures have helped alleviate major flooding by regulating runoff.McInerney says rainfall over the next few weeks will determine the severity of flooding.
