Utah’s earliest inhabitants explored at USU museum

You have a chance to learn a lot about Utah’s earliest inhabitants on Saturday. Dr. Joel Janetski, the 2010 recipient of the Great Basin Anthropological Conference Founders Lifetime Achievement award, will be the featured speaker at Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology.Dr. Janetski will discuss the way those early inhabitants moved from hunter-gatherer lifeway to an agriculture lifestyle and how archeologists use their skills to retell Utah’s history.Two Great Basin exhibit tours on ancient Utah lifeways will be offered at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Following the tours guests can try their hand at spear throwing. Rock art and crdage bracelet ativities will be available during the day
