Heritage Days are about to be celebrated in Nibley, one of the fastest growing communities in the state of Utah. Nibley Mayor Jerald Knight says Heritage Days starts Monday, June 13 with a kids parade and ends Saturday night with a movie in the park.On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Monday, Knight said on Tuesday there is a baby pageant and a sports night. On Wednesday there will be a picnic in the park.”Following the picnic we will have a concert in the park featuring Vocalocity, and that runs from 7:30 to 9 p.m.,” Knight explained. “Then Thursday we have our sidewalk art at 10:30 in the morning and that evening we have our children’s play that will be preformed. “The title of this year’s play is ‘The Sword in the Stone’ and it starts at 7 on 200 South at the Jessie Datwyler amphitheater.”Richard Hatch of the Hatch Academy of Music and Magic will perform magic on Thursday and Friday. Other Heritage events include a Mayor’s dinner for the community on Friday and on Saturday a fundraising breakfast, a parade at 10 a.m. followed by a carnival and games for all the family to enjoy.
