The programs are called Noon Concerts at the Tabernacle and The Logan Tabernacle and Lecture Series, but for the next few months those programs will not be held at the regular place: the historic Logan Tabernacle. Logan Municipal Councilmember Dean Quayle is also a member of Cache Community Connections, the oganization that sponsors the programs. He says, starting Monday June 13, the programs normally held in the tabernacle will be moved to the Logan High School Auditorium. “Shortly thereafter construction’s going to start on the parking lot on the back side of the Tabernacle and that pretty much precludes our using the Tabernacle for the summer for music series,” Quayle says. “So we’re indeed indebted to Logan High School, the school board allowing us to come into the school to use the auditorium for our summer music programs.” He says there are actually some opportunities at the high school not available at the Tabernacle and that is some dance activities. Quayle says, in all, about 50 programs will be moved to the high school until August 1. The annual Summerfest Arts Faire will be held as scheduled from June 16-18 on the Tabernacle lawn.
