The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) announced 1000 West, between 200 North and 600 South, will be closed to through traffic for 60 days starting Sunday, June 19.During that time, Logan City will install a new sewer line. This piece of road will still be open to residents and businesses in the area.According to UDOT documents, businesses along 1000 West will remain open during the construction project.Other portions of 1000 West will be closed for shorter periods of time. Residents living along 1800 South between 1000 West and 1100 West should continue using US-89/91 to get to their homes, as this portion of road will remained closed until Tuesday, June 21. The intersection at 1400 North and 1000 West will be closed intermittently during June 20-22 while Questar installs a new gas line.Drivers are no longer be able to access 1000 West at 350 South and 500 South. According to UDOT, a frontage road, accessible from Three Point Avenue, 200 South and 600 South, will be used to get to those neighborhoods.
