Nibley Heritage Days: many events for many people

“Many events for many people.” That is how Nibley Mayor Jerald Knight describes this week’s Heritage Days celebration that has included a bike parade, baby pageant, picnic in the park, sidewalk art and a children’s play that opened last night in the Jessie Datwyler Amphitheatre.Mayor Knight says the play The Sword in the Stone plays again Friday night at 7 p.m. following a mayor’s dinner in the old city park. Knight says events continue Saturday with a fun run and/or walk at 7:15 a.m. after which there is a fundraising breakfast for cancer patient Jaxon Wynn and his family.”Then that will be followed by a parade at 10 and the carnival and games and contests from 11 to 2 p.m.,” Knight explains. “And then that evening the final event will be a movie in the park at 9 p.m.”Mayor Knight invites everyone in Cache Valley to help celebrate Heritage Days this weekend.
