10th West closures to last up to two months, businesses still open

Tenth West between 200 North and 600 South will be closed to through-traffic starting Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. to allow Logan City to install a new sewer line. Utah Department of Transportation Spokesman Vic Saunders says the closure is expected to last up to 60 days. Saunders says access for local traffic will continue for residents and businesses in this area with posted detours for all other traffic controlled by flaggers. Truckers and others needing access to the closed area will be allowed in or detoured on a case-by-case basis. Saunders says motorists should consider alternate routes through the area.

<strong>June 19-23</strong>

<strong>June 19-23</strong>

: The intersection of SR-30 (200 North) and SR-252 (1000 West) will be closed for 30 days, beginning Sunday, June 19, at 7 p.m. East-bound traffic on SR-30 will detour off 200 North at 1225 West and proceed to 400 North, crossing 1000 West and continuing to 950 West. At 950 West, traffic will turn south to regain SR-30. Westbound traffic will detour off 200 North at 850 West to 400 North, then proceed westbound across 1000 West, and regaining SR-30 at 1225 West. All services to truck traffic in the area, available in the 200 North 1000 West area, will remain open during this closure and can be accessed directly from SR-30. <strong>June 17</strong>

: The west side of the intersection at 600 South and 1000 West will be closed from 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 16 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 17. <strong>June 17-21</strong>

: 1800 South between 1000 West and 1100 West will continue to be closed until Tuesday, June 21. Residents in this area can continue to use US-89/91 and 1100 West to access their homes. <strong>June 17</strong>

: Access to 1000 West at 350 South and 500 South will be closed permanently on Thursday June 16, and Friday June 17, respectively. The frontage road will be accessible from Three Point Avenue, 200 South, and 600 South. Local residents should begin using the frontage road to access these neighborhoods from now on. <strong>June 20-22</strong>

: The intersection at 1400 North and 1000 West will be closed intermittently Monday, June 20, through Wednesday, June 22, to allow Questar to install a new gas line: Motorists should consider alternate routes around this area. June 17-23: In the new frontage road area of 1000 West, between 600 South and 200 south, curb and gutter work is continuing.
