Mother Nature continues to throw the nation curveballs, this time in the form of a hailstorm and tornado warning in Bear Lake County, Idaho. A tornado warning was issued at 6:45 p.m. Thursday by the National Weather Service. Bear Lake County Sheriff’s Office dispatch said they received a call from the service Thursday evening warning them of the possibility of tornadoes near Montpelier. Montpelier was hit by a hailstorm and high winds, but no tornadoes touched ground. Dispatch was not aware of any damage from the storm. As of 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, the tornado warning was lifted.
