Officers apprehend two suspects involved in 14 burglaries throughout Cache Valley

The Logan City Police Department, in partnership with the Cache County Sheriffs Office, has apprehended two suspects involving 14 different residential burglaries throughout Cache Valley. Arthur Najera and Jessica Swiger of Logan have been booked into the Cache County Jail for multiple counts involving burglary, theft, criminal mischief, vehicle theft, drugs, possession of a firearm by a restricted person and possession of financial transaction cards. These charges range from class B Misdemeanors to 2nd degree Felonies. According to a release from the Logan City Police Department, police were able to clear 12 residential burglaries that had taken place from May to June. The burglaries involved nearly $40,000 worth of property and two vehicle thefts. The stolen property included a firearm, jewelry, computers, credit and debit cards, vehicles, cash and other various articles. Logan and Cache County investigators were able to determine enough information to execute a search warrant for residences in Logan and River Heights. Most of the stolen property was recovered during the execution of the search warrants.
