Four teenage girls were injured in a single vehicle rollover accident Thursday night in Hyrum. Cache County Sheriff Chief Deputy Brad Slater says the 16-year old driver from Sandy reportedly lost control while traveling westbound along 4800 South and 490 West. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled. An investigation report states the driver said her vision was impaired by the setting sun. Witnesses state the car was traveling at a high rate of speed on the 35 mph road. Passengers included a 13-year old North Logan girl, and two 16-year old females from Hyrum and Petersboro. The girls’ injuries included cuts, scrapes, and bruises, but no life-threatening injuries. All were taken to Logan Regional Hospital. Investigation is ongoing.
