Logan, Utah has been selected as a top retirement destination by
<em>Where to Retire</em>
, the only magazine in America geared toward helping people with retirement relocation decisions. The city will be profiled in the feature story “Eight Money-Saver Towns” in the September-October issue of the magazine which will be available nationwide on August 23.”Where to Retire” editor Mary L. Abbot says Logan possesses qualities important to today’s retirees. She says relocating to Logan can give you a lot of bang for your buck. Besides a below average cost of living, Logan is described as a town with a low crime rate, low housing costs and ample opportunities for outdoor adventure along with cultural activities that include opera performances and outdoor concerts.The magazine says, in general, re-locating retirees are healthier, better educated and more affluent than those who choose to not relocate.
