Son says Romney would be ‘hands on’ President

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Logan for two fundraising events Friday, first at the home of Dr. Marlowe Goble (costing a $2,500 donation per person) and later at the Riverwoods Conference Center (costing a $500 donation per person). Last week on KVNU’s Crosstalk show Romney’s son Josh said that his father, as President, would be hands on, like former President Lyndon Johnson was. “He’d go in and sit in Congressmen or women’s offices and wait for them to return,” Romney explained, “so he could talk to them and tell them his position and try and convince them of what he thought was the right way to go. I think that would be much more of the approach my dad would take.” Romney spent Tuesday in New Hampshire while sharpening his focus on President Obama and his policies.
