Space Dynamics Lab wins $150 million contract

The Missile Defense Agency has announced the award of a $150 million dollar contract for an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity cost-plus-fixed fee to Utah State University’s Space Dynamics Laboratory. The laboratory will work with the MDA to provide technology development for electro-optic sensor systems, space rated instrument and payload development data, essential engineering research and development capabilities and services in the development of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.USU’s Space Dynamics Laboratory is sponsored by MDA as designated by the director of defense research and engineering. The MDA out of Huntsville, Alabama is the contracting agency.
