A Tremonton man is dead and several other people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 30 in Box Elder County. At approximately 5:43 p.m. Saturday a white Oldsmobile Toronado, driven by 19-year-old Tremonton resident Logan Fulgham, was traveling westbound about five miles east of Riverside. His vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming Chevy Trailblazer. According to Utah Highway Patrol Sergeant Ted Tingey, the impact of the crash caused both vehicles to hit the side of another vehicle, a Ford pickup truck hauling a camper trailer. Fulgham was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevy Trailblazer, a 34-year old Nibley man, was wearing his seatbelt but needed to be extricated from his vehicle and transported by helicopter to Ogden Regional Medical Center where he was in serious condition. The four occupants in the Ford truck, two adults and two children, were not injured with the exception of an eight-year old boy who was transported by ambulance to Bear River Valley Hospital with minor abdominal pain. All four in the truck were wearing seatbelts. The roadway was closed for approximately three hours while the crash was investigated and cleaned up. According to officers, it appears Fulgham may have suffered a medical condition that caused him to cross over into oncoming traffic. Speed and alcohol were not a factor. The crash remains under investigation. Twitter @efrandsen
