Cache Community Connections sponsoring special 9/11 commemoration

Cache Community Connections is sponsoring a 9/11 Commemoration program on Sunday, September 11 starting at 7 p.m. in the Kent Concert Hall of the Utah State University Chase Fine Arts Center. The event is free to the public and no tickets are required. The program will feature Dr. Craig Jessop’s American Festival Chorus singing four numbers, former Mayor Doug Thompson will tell about the formation of Cache Community Connections and Dr. Ross Peterson, local historian and Assistant to USU President Stan Albrecht will speak about the world 10 years after 9/11.Logan Municipal Councilmember Dean Quayle, an original and current member of Cache Community Connections, says the inter-faith organization was formed immediately following the 9/11 terror attacks.
