Sen. Lee receives national Eagle Scout recognition

U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah has received recognition from the National Eagle Scout Association with the National Eagle Scout Association’s Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. The NOESA is a prestigious recognition presented to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and service at the local, state and regional level.The award recognizes the top one percent of Eagle Scouts and is a limited national award conferred on scouters at the recommendation of their BSA council.Senator Lee, who is one of only 27 NOESA recipients in Utah, says he is honored to receive the award. He says participating in Boy Scouts has given him a great sense of pride in his country from an early age and also a desire to serve his community.
