Utah State University’s Applied Nutrition Research U-STAR team is looking for individuals between the ages of 55 and 80 who want to participate in a research study. The Cache Valley AIR study will determine if a comprehensive dietary supplement pack can offer some protection against the unhealthy effects of the air pollution that typically occurs during winter inversions in Cache Valley. Participants must be living in Cache Valley from November of this year through the end of March of next year. Interested individuals must also be willing to make visits to the clinic throughout the course of the 18-week study. Assessments will include blood work and breathing studies. For more information, call Applied Nutrition Research at (435) 797-4226.
