2011 Cache County Fair and Rodeo one of the most successful ever

Great weather, great crowds, great participants and great entertainment. Cache County Clerk and Fair Manager Jill Zollinger says those factors combined to help the 2011 Cache County Fair and Rodeo become one of the most successful, if not the most successful ever held.Zollinger told the Cache County Council Tuesday night that after the bills were paid the county came out $7,037 in the black this year, something that has not happened every year in the past.Zollinger said she felt great about the county’s participation with Texas Roadhouse Restaurant and Logan Regional Hospital in the Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign to raise money for breast cancer awareness.”We have $6,371 that we have raised, in connection with Texas Roadhouse and the hospital and all the things that we sold down at the fairgrounds. All of that money will stay here for the cancer center.”Zollinger also told the council it was the most successful rodeo yet, with the fair and rodeo combined bringing in $220,484.
