Bridgework being done at Guinavah-Malibu Campground

Work has begun on replacement of the bridge in the Guinavah-Malibu Campground in Logan Canyon. Logan Ranger District Spokesperson Kathy Jo Pollock says the Uintah-Wasatch-Cache National Forest is replacing the bridge abutments and the damaged bridge will soon be removed.Estimated completion date for the project will be late spring of 2012. Pollock says while the project is underway there will be no access to cross the river in the campground.There will be no visitor access provided from the Guinavah-Malibu campground to the Riverside Nature Campground or the Crimson trails.
