UDOT Region One Road Construction Report for December 16-22, 2011

Ogden– The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises motorists of the following road construction and maintenance activities that may cause traffic impacts in the state’s Northern Region: Weber County Plain CityDec 16-22: As part of the Warren Canal Bridge Safety Improvement Project on SR-134, near milepost 6, Crews are removing and replacing existing bridge parapets, and installing new guardrail leading in and out of the bridge. Traffic is limited to one-way traffic with a mobile traffic signal set up to direct the vehicles. This project, which is located near Fremont High School, will last about 21 days. Motorists should be prepared to stop at the traffic signal and wait to cross until the green light shows in their direction. Those motorists with time sensitive travel might consider using alternate routes. Cache County LoganDec 18: 1000 West will be closed from US 89-91 to 1800 South, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Sunday, December 18. After the work is completed, the lane restrictions will remain in place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday evening. Dec 16-22: Landscaping work is also on going in the area between 600 South and 200 South. This work takes place at the roads edge, but temporary lane closures may be instituted from time to time for this work.
