Cache Valley writer RaeAnne Thayne will discuss her transition from journalist to national award-winning fiction writer Tuesday at the annual meeting of Friends of the North Logan Library starting at 7 p.m. Thayne is a Utah State University graduate and former reporter for The Herald Journal.Thayne says although she reveled in the challenge and the diversity of news reporting, she kept writing stories in her head – romances – tales about real people going through the trials and tribulations of life until they find deep and lasting love.Her first book sold in 1995. Since then she has been a three-time nominee for honors from Romance Writers of America. Thayne now has more than 30 books to her credit. The public is invited to attend the meeting where Donna Marie Wagner, recently appointed as director of the North Logan Library, will be introduced.
