New entrepreneurial center opening at USU

A team of highly experienced entrepreneurs, together with a Founders board of successful mentors and supporters, will lead a new Center For Entrepreneurial Excellence at Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. The new center will be launched at a brief celebratory event Wednesday, January 25 at 3 p.m. on the main floor of the George S. Eccles Business Building. The event is open to the public and will feature remarks by USU President Stan Albrecht, Dean Douglas D. Anderson and Center Director Mike Glauser. Glauser, who is a successful entrepreneur and author, says the center is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs from the community and from across the university, not just business majors, create new enterprises. Glauser was the founder and former CEO of Golden Swirl Management Company and of Northern Lights.
