Brigham City Mayor Dennis Fife will be presenting his State of the City address on Thursday, February 2 at 7 p.m. Mayor Fife will be speaking before the Brigham City Council and citizens at the Bunderson Center, 641 East 200 North.According to the Box Elder News Journal, Mayor Fife is expected to discuss how the city was able to control and avert flooding during the 2011 spring runoff. Mayor Fife will also discuss future developments in the city.In addition to the State of the City address Thursday, a legislative town hall meeting will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Rep. Ronda Menlove at the Bear River Valley Senior Citizens Center, 510 West 1000 North in Tremonton. A second legislative town hall meeting will take place Saturday, February 4 at 8 a.m. This time the meeting will be at the Brigham City EMS Building, 500 West Forest Street. Rep. Lee Perry and Sen. Peter Knudson will also attend the meeting on Saturday.
